Why WITGRITFIT Exists

Career guidance often provides information. But information alone does not create clarity. Across contexts, we saw the same pattern repeat. Learners could list options — yet felt paralysed when it came to choosing.

Real careers involve uncertainty, trade-offs, and imperfect confidence.
Yet many guidance experiences swing between abstract advice and narrow job exposure — offering either general recommendations or brief glimpses of specific roles, but rarely a framework for making decisions.

How It Started

WITGRITFIT began as a single, physical career simulation designed for a one-off engagement.
What surprised us was what happened next.
Participants weren’t just engaged — they were reflective. They weren’t just entertained — they were making connections about their own lives.

WITGRITFIT momentum began

What started as a one-time experiment evolved organically into a platform, and backed by now experienced by over 30,000 learners.

It is backed by decades of academic research and career development theory, translated into the structured WIT • GRIT • FIT framework.

The design has been peer reviewed at international conferences and refined through ongoing research and institutional application.

What began as an experiment became a method — grounded in theory and tested in practice.

The Founders

WITGRITFIT is led by two builders, each of whom has shaped their own career using the very principles embedded in the framework. One transitioned across sectors and disciplines, leveraging legal and start-up experience to become a Global Head of Innovation, leading teams across 24 markets.

The other shifted from investment banking into a digital-nomad, portfolio career — intentionally designing a balance of work, autonomy, and impact.

One brings deep expertise in experiential design. The other in technology, operations, and scalable delivery. Together, they built WITGRITFIT as a practical, human-centred framework for developing career clarity and capability.
